Pathway was established to provide a permanent platform of trust between China and the rest of the world, with the goal of advancing sustainable development at scale and with urgency.

Pathway was also host to Hanwang Forum which was an open platform in the field of disaster prevention, disaster relief and sustainable development. It organized international and domestic dialogue and worked among all walks of leaders to discuss how to deal with possible disasters in the future and to construct a safer, more harmonious, more symbiotic and more sustainable human society. Today the Hanwang Forum is a Europe-wide collaborative platform where people meet to exchange and incubate ideas on the creation and development of a world built on sustainable principles.

The Pathway logo are designed to be in constant movement as a reminder that we must never stop the discussions between countries and constantly continue developing, discuss and learn from each other.
