Halcyon was a destination on Essex Road in London designed to celebrate the best of Britain in food, art, design and entertainment. The building was going to host a cafe, shop, bar, restaurang and gallery.

The design of the identity is based on the multifaceted letters on the old London signs. By adding modern colours which, deliberately was misplaced, a modern and quirky look appeared.

The construction of the logo was then extended to a pattern that could be applied across the identity.
