UK Athletics is the national governing body for the sport of athletics in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland and has developed to become the most successful and robust athletics governing body in the world with a world class major events series and overseeing the performances and the British Athletics Olympic and Paralympic programme teams.

The British Athletics logo is created to reflect the diversity of athletics and made up of 14 different icons each representing a different discipline within the sport. Together they create a badge representing confidence and pride where each specific discipline can be highlighted. The icons can also be used as a pattern which broaden the identity into a world seen on all communications and events.
